Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA AD) Program

With the support of CSCSE and the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA), Guizhou Normal University introduced the SQA ad program as far back as 2009. According to the provisions on student registration in the program, students must reach IELTS 4.5 one year after enrollment before they can register as SQA ad students. SQA AD curriculum is integrated into the basic stage of undergraduate training in the program. Students study in China (School of International Education, GZNU) in the first three years and in foreign cooperative universities in the last year. They can obtain the graduation certificate of Guizhou Normal University, degree certificate and graduation certificate of foreign cooperative universities by mutual recognition of credits, completing the specified credits and meeting the conditions (degree certificate). Those who cannot study abroad in the last year can also choose to continue studying in China, complete the required credits of Guizhou Normal University and meet the conditions, and can also obtain the graduation certificate and degree certificate of Guizhou Normal University. At present, the project has opened Tourism Management (International Hotel Management direction), computer science and technology in the School of International Education of GZNU (Software Development and Network Interconnection) 2 majors.
