In 2014, Guizhou Normal University (GZNU) and I. Yakovlev Chuvash State Pedagogical University (CSPU) in Russia signed a letter of intent to cooperate in the exchange and cooperation of students and teachers. Since the establishment of the relationship between the two universities, GZNU has strongly supported and assisted the university in the construction of the Chinese Language Center. We have selected Chinese teachers and donated Chinese books to CSPU. The teachers dispatched to the center have adopted various teaching methods. By recitation contests, Chinese handwriting contests and Chinese knowledge contests, it has attracted many locals to learn Chinese. Via Chinese martial arts competitions, lectures on Chinese language, cultural exhibitions and other forms of introduction and dissemination of Chinese culture, with unremitting efforts, the number of Chinese language learners in the region of CSPU has increased exponentially. A great momentum of Chinese language learning has been formed.
