Founded in 1941, Guizhou Normal University is a key university, co-founded by Ministry of Education of P.R.C and the government of Guizhou province. While focusing on teachers' education, GZNU has developed comprehensive disciplines covering Science, Engineering, Agriculture, Arts, Literature, History, Law, Economics etc. Having seen over 300 thousand graduates step into their professional fields and to the bigger world beyond, GZNU has been always upholding the faith of Patriotism, Dedication, Devotion and Self-Improvement and the motto of Thinking, Practice, Erudition and Innovation.
