ASEAN Cooperation Week
Since 2008, Ministry of Education, PRC (MOE, PRC), Ministry of Foreign Affairs, PRC (MFA, PRC) and the People's Government of Guizhou Province have jointly held the "China-ASEAN Education Exchange Week" in Guizhou, committed to building a platform and brand for education cooperation between China and ASEAN countries. Since the first "China-ASEAN Education Exchange Week" held in Guiyang, GZNU has participated in relevant events every year. In 2011, GZNU began to apply for and successfully held an independent program. Through the events, GZNU has established friendly contacts with colleges and universities in ASEAN countries, carried out substantive exchanges and cooperation, and inaugurated the "Swiss Research Center" to carry out academic research. In addition to experts, scholars and students from ASEAN countries, scholars, officials, entrepreneurs and media workers from Sweden, the United States, Switzerland and other countries, Hong Kong and Taiwan participated in the activities, expanding the international popularity and influence of GZNU.
Via the platform of China-ASEAN Education Exchange week, GZNU has also built a communication bridge with the higher education institutions and other relevant institutions of Switzerland and Russia, the specially invited partner countries participating in the exchange week, which has laid a foundation for deepening mutual understanding and promoting exchanges and cooperation with these countries in the future, and actively promoted the international running of schools.
