Since the establishment of contact betweenI. Yakovlev Chuvash State Pedagogical University (CSPU) in Russia and GZNU, the two universities have carried out effective cooperation in fields like co-building Chinese Language Center and exchanging teachers and students, etc. In order to further promote the cooperation between the two sides, our university established Russian Language Center co-built by Guizhou Normal University andI. Yakovlev Chuvash State Pedagogical University in October 2019, attached to the School of foreign languages of our university. The presidents of the two universities attended the opening ceremony.

Since its establishment, the Russian Language Center has become a platform for teachers and students of the Department of Russian, GZNU and Russian students to communicate with each other. Relying on this platform, in April 2021, the School of Foreign Languages, GZNU and CSPU jointly held an online academic seminar "Practical Issues in Russian Language Teaching". Series of jointly held event demonstrates the significance of "Russian Language Center", stimulates students' enthusiasm for learning Russian language, literature and scientific research, and promotes further cooperation between our university and Chuvash National Normal University of Russia.
