Over 200 students from different schools participated in the 4th Exchange Students Programs Publicity held by Office of International Exchange and Cooperation (OIEC) at Baoshan, Baiyun and Huaxi campus from October 11to 12 to get more overseas study information and learn the latest exchange students program of GZNU.

The publicity, hosted by Ms. Chen Yuexi, Chief of International Exchange Section of OIEC, and Ms. Liu Zecun, program officers of International Exchange Section, included 3 parts. Before the programs introduction, Ms. Chen pointed out in her opening remarks that GZNU started its students’ exchange program in 2004 and in the last dozen years over 500 students have benefited from these exchange programs and this annual publicity meeting aimed to provide detailed program information to all students interested in gaining overseas studying experiences. Ms. Liu also encouraged all qualified students to improve their professional skills and knowledge by learning abroad.

The two teachers gave detailed program information lectures to all attendees, such as the university’s overview, exchange students’ activities, application requirement etc.

“To study abroad, you’ll earn an opportunity to learn the different sides of your major and at the same time you’ll have much more understanding of the multicultural world. We would like to help every qualified applicant to apply for an appropriate university.” Ms. Chen said.

“I really expect to have such an opportunity to study abroad and my parents also want me to experience different culture and learn as more as I can in a foreign country. I am sure that I will pay more attention to the program notice and prepare for it.” a student from Huaxi Campus said.
