November 9^th, 2015:Dato’ Dr. Hassan Said, Vice Chancellor and President of Taylor’sUniversity(TU),Dr. Frederic Bouchon, Associate Dean,International Relations, School of Hospitality, Tourism and Culinary Arts,Mr. Tan Geok Pin, Manager of Business Development, Transnational Education,Ms. Ruby Liu, Representative of TU in Guizhou visited Guizhou Normal University(GZNU).

During their visit, there is a meeting withDr. Xu Xiaoguang, the vice-president of GZNU, Mr.Deng Long,deputydirector of Office of International Exchange and Cooperation. AndMr. Guo Rui,the director of Switzerland Research Center attended.

Dr. Xu expressed warmly welcome to the delegates and introduced GZNU briefly, hopingthe programs from our MOU could be carried out in the near future.Mr.Dengreviewed the history of the friendly visitings between both universities and would like to put the exchange students program into practice in 2016.

Dr. Hassan Said appreciated GZNU’s gracious reception and gave a detailed introduction to TU. Considering the advantages of two universities, he suggested to establish a Development and Research Center through which both GZNU and TU could have students or professionals traning, launch research programs and organize international seminars together, for a deeper cooperation,

The deputy director ofSwitzerland Research Center, Mr. Guo, sharedtheir experience and offered his opinions on the land, faculty and funds of the Center and expressed best wishes to its establishment.

After the meeting，both attendancesexchanged gifts andtook photos together.
