From December 22 to 24, 2021, the second member representative conference of Branch for Chinese-Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools, China Association of Higher Education (BCFCRS, CAHE) was held in Quanzhou Vocational and Technical University, in order to elect the new board of directors, supervisors, executive council, secretary-general, and deputy Chairman and Chairman.

Quanzhou Vocational and Technical University, located in Quanzhou, Fujianas the first batch of undergraduate-level vocational education pilot schools in the country.)

Hao Qingjie, Deputy Secretary-General of China Association of Higher Education attended the conference, read theReply on agreeing to the Plan of Changing the term of BCFCRS, CAHEand delivered a speech. And he pointed out that under the leadership of the first board of directors, the Sino-foreign cooperative education branch has achieved much progress and emphasized that among the 68 branches of China Association of Higher Education, BCFCRS ranked the first.

Lin Jinhui, director of BCFCRS at Xiamen University, made a report on the work of the council of the first term and reviewed the main work in the past five years since BCFCRS’s establishment and it has ranked first among the top 60 branches for consecutive years and in 2018, 2019, and 2020 been awarded the title of "Excellent Branch of China Association of Higher Education ". At the end of his work report, he put forward prospects and hopes for the future development of BCFCRS.

The conference elected 47 members of the second board of directors and 1 supervisor from 21 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities across the country, including university presidents, directors, deans, Chinese-foreign cooperative education institutionsandproject leaders, relevant persons in charge of education administration departments, famous experts and scholars of Chinese-foreign cooperative education and mainstream media reporters, etc.

The conference agreed to invite the following experts to serve as senior consultants of the research group, including the former vice president of Xiamen University, the former convener of the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, the famous educator Pan Maoyuan, etc.

After the conference, the first meeting of the board directors of the second term was held to elect the General Assembly, secretary-general, deputy director, director and approved the list of deputy secretary-generals nominated by the directors. Lin Jinhui was re-elected as chairman of the second board of directors of BCFCRS, CAHE, Wang Dachao as Secretary of the Party Committee of Liaoning Economic Management College (Liaoning Economic Vocational and Technical College), Huang Guanhua as former Dean of the International College of China Agricultural University, Chen Juan as Executive Vice Chairman of the Labor Union of Jimei University, Wu Binru as Vice President of Quanzhou Vocational and Technical University. And Chen Juan was elected as the Secretary-General. Liu Dajin, the former vice dean of the Overseas Education College of Jimei University and the director of management of Chengyi College, was elected as the supervisor of BCFCRS.

After completing the agenda of the conference, Lin Jinhui delivered a speech. He mentioned that the significance of Chinese-Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools and expressed his respect and thanks to the 14 comrades who withdrew from the board of directors this time.

Besides, the conference organized a Sino-foreign cooperative education seminar for the majority of members ---- the "Sino-foreign Cooperation in Running Schools Policy and Management Practice Advanced Seminar". Du Jianhui and Meng Zhongyuan, executive directors of the seminar, presided over the training at different periods of time.

The seminar invited director Lin Jinhui, senior consultant Feng Youmei, executive director Di Aiying, director Qin Jie, and Dean of Asia-Australia Business School Huo Chunhui of Liaoning University to give lectures respectively.

During the seminar, there were on-site Q&A session. The lecturers interpreted the latest policies of Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools, analyzed the trend of Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools based on the domestic and foreign situation, and focused on the key issues of law, finance, and disciplines that are common in the process of planning and promoting Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools.
