A spring hiking forforeignexchange students studying in Guizhou Normal University(GZNU) was held by Office of International Exchange and Cooperation(OIEC) toboost the universities’ cooperation, enrichthe life ofstudents and give them a chance to experience unique landscapes of Guizhou by walking into nature, on March 29 in the A’ha Lake National Wetlands Park, Guiyang, capital city of Guizhou province.
Students from South Korea, Russia and Thailand walked through a sea of green trees and blossoming flowers from the north square to the top of the mountain for 3 hours since arrived in the park at 14:00 p.m.
“There are many beautiful flowers and winding paths, it’s just like a forest, very quiet and peaceful. I like this place.” Su Hanyu, a student from Thailand this semster, said.
“Fresh air and good environment make it a perfect place to hike in the spring, I’d love to do sports here very much.” aRussiagirl student said excitedly.
Other students also expressed their gratitude for GZNU and the opportunity to experience lush mountains and lucid waters of Guiyang city, saying they would recommend more foreign students to study in GZNU and come back to their homeland and university with all friendships.
It is reported that A’ha Lake National Wetlands Park, a total area of 1218 hectare, is the city’s first national-level wetlands park, remarkable by itswetland ecological properties and abundant biological diversity as a typical park of its kind.
