On June 30^th, Dr. Mary Otto, the former vice president of Oakland University, visited Guizhou Normal University with her five colleagues. Vice president Xu Xiaoguang had a meeting with the guests on Baoshan campus. The meeting was held by Ms. Chen Yuexi, chief of the International Exchange Section with Prof. Liu Qiwen, deputy dean of School of Foreign Languages and Prof. Mu Zhixuan, deputy dean of School of Education Science attending.

During the meeting, Xu Xiaoguang warmly welcomed the delegates, and made a brief introduction of GZNU. Dr. Mary Otto was grateful of the reception. She introduced Oakland University and the background of the cooperation between the university and Guizhou Province briefly. Then, Dr. Jon Margerum-Leys introduced the School of Education and Human Services in detail and wished to carry out teachers’ and students’ cooperation programs with GZNU. Liu Qiwen and Mu Zhixuan introduced their schools respectively and expressed their will of cooperation.
