On November 11st, delegates from Patna University visited Guizhou Normal University to discuss the academic cooperation between two universities, especially jointly establishing Chinese Language department in Patna University. Vice president Zhao Shouying held a meeting with the delegates on Baoshan campus.

During the meeting, Zhao Shouying warmly welcomed the delegates and took a brief introduction of GZNU. He said “One Belt and One Road” has provided many academic cooperation chances for the neighboring countries and regions. He wished that both universities will strengthen exchange and jointly improve the educational level.

Kumar Priya Ranjan, the academic committee of PU, introduced the history and characteristic of PU. He said there is no Chinese Language department in PU, and he wanted to carry out this program with GZNU.

On the topic of jointly establishing Chinese Language department in PU, both universities took a further discussion and initially identified the cooperative intention and mode.

Ms. Pei Jun, director of Office of International Exchange and Cooperation and Mr. Yi Wenxiao, dean of School of Chinese Language and Literature participated the meeting.
